Healthcare Director

My journey began as a nurse aide right after high school. I earned my associate’s degree in nursing in 2016 and continued my education while working, completing my bachelor's degree in nursing in 2019. Throughout my career, I've gained diverse experience across healthcare settings including rehabilitation, private duty, physician offices, dialysis and home health.

My true passion lies in rehabilitation - helping individuals recover and return to their cherished activities after experiencing life-altering events. There's nothing quite like witnessing someone's joy when they reconnect with the outdoors after a significant medical challenge. This drew me to camp nursing in 2023, and I've never looked back. Becoming the Healthcare Director at Camp Summit is a perfect alignment of my nursing expertise and my commitment to providing barrier-free outdoor experiences for our campers.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I've explored miles of the Appalachian Trail and ventured through Mammoth Cave. I channel my creativity through wire jewelry making and various arts and crafts - passions that naturally complement my role in helping others experience the joy of outdoor activities.
