Camp Summit’s 23rd Annual Golf Tournament Raises $98,000 for Campers with Disabilities.

The folks at Camp Summit are making dreams come true at their barrier-free campground, appropriately located in Paradise, Texas.

The annual event, held at Bear Creek Golf Club was the organization’s 23rd Annual Benefit Golf Tournament, supporting their camp programs for children and adults with disabilities. On Monday, April 24, over 140 golfers enjoyed a perfect spring day on the course, showing off their skills (and their argyle collection) for a great cause. Together, they raised $98,000 for Camp Summit’s remarkable campers.

“Our special events help to ensure that our campers with special needs will always have a camp to call their own. The funds raised today will support our scholarship program, help us to continuously improve our camp programs, and allow us provide the greatest possible experience for all of our campers and their families”, says Pam Chicol, Director of Development.

The Camp Summit Team and Event Chair, Mitch Bramlett, are already setting their sights for success for next year’s tournament, scheduled for Monday, April 23, 2018 at Bear Creek Golf Club.
